DNA Used to Link Teen with Whitehall Borough Burglary

And four other stories in these Whitehall police notes from the past week.

Blood Match

The Allegheny County Crime Lab returned a DNA match recently on blood taken from the scene of a January buglary in Whitehall Borough, Whitehall police Chief Donald R. Dolfi said.

Police had a person of interest in the burglary case, Dolfi said, and took a blood sample from that person. The blood was left behind in a Whitehall Place apartment on Maple Drive, which is in the Wallace (Prospect) Park area.
