Cool Springs Golf Center Catches Fire

UPDATE (Sept. 19, 11:18 a.m.): The fire has been extinguished.

UPDATE (Sept. 19, 10:55 a.m.):
The fire was contained to one building.

UPDATE (Sept. 19, 10:45 a.m.):
 Firefighters reported problems with initial water supply from the hydrant at nearby Abraham Lincoln Elementary School and had to tap into another hydrant along Hamilton Road to provide the majority of water.


No injuries have been reported.

The pro shop of the Cool Springs Golf and Family Recreation Center along Hamilton Road in Bethel Park caught fire on Thursday morning.

The cause of the blaze is not yet known, but up to seven area fire companies are believed to be on the scene.

The shop had closed for the season on Sunday, Sept. 15.
