Carjacking in Baldwin Borough

Incident happened Monday morning on Macassar Drive.

Police in are looking for three males who are believed to have stolen a red 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage with Pennsylvania license plate number HZF-0961.

According to the victim, his car was stolen at gunpoint at around 12:30 a.m. on Monday in the 400 block of Macassar Drive by three black males wearing white shirts, Chief Michael Scott said. One of the males was wearing a black hat.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact Baldwin police at 412-882-9600, ext. 200.

This following the updated "housing" name change from Leland Point to "The Residences of South Hills". A name change won't do a thing for the housing plan's image.

As an FYI, folks, not all of Macassar Drive is part of The Residences of South Hills.

Robert the car was stolen down by where the homes were on Macassar Drive and not up in the Apartments.

Probably was stolen from someone who was visiting up at the apartments and didn't have a ride home so they stole a car at gunpoint. I do feel for the person that this happen to and so glad they weren't hurt.

Looks like they need to next work on making the "flag as inappropriate" button work, {sigh} Hey, Margaret, Patch knocked computer off IE AGAIN in the middle of posting this, it's not just you---probably quite a few of us. I know of another website that had similar problems, but finally got it fixed. Hang in there! :-)
