A officer observed a man driving erratically near 's Brownsville Road-Knoedler Road intersection at around 12:52 a.m. on Sunday.
The officer eventually stopped the motorist—Jeffrey Krause, 52, of Wallace Avenue in Bethel Park—at the Brownsville-Hacienda Drive intersection and smelled alcohol upon conversing with Krause, according to a police report.
The officer also reported that Krause admitted to recently drinking alcohol.

Krause was put through field-sobriety and breath-analyzer tests, which he failed, before being arrested and charged with suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
He was then taken to the Jefferson Regional Medical Center for a blood test (results pending) before being taken home.
