UPDATE: Baldwin Man Charged with Soliciting Nude Photos of Brentwood Girls

UPDATE: Ford's arraignment has resulted in a jury trial set to begin on July 9.

The Allegheny County Police Department arrested Daniel Edward Ford, a 46-year-old man from , earlier this month on charges that Ford solicited nude photos of minors.

Online court documents show that the illegal activity began as early as June 2011.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review is reporting that Ford exchanged cash, drugs and services such as body piercings in exchange for the nude photos of five Brentwood Middle School girls aged 12 to 14. The Tribune-Review is also reporting that Ford even did some of the piercings himself.

Court records show that Ford had a preliminary hearing in the  office of Magistrate John N. Bova of District Court 05-2-18 on Tuesday. Bova's jurisdiction includes Baldwin and Brentwood boroughs.

Ford faced charges of criminal use of communication facility, unlawful contact with minor-sexual offenses, criminal solicitation-photograph/film/depict on computer sex act-child, body piercing minor, sell obscene/sexual materials, corruption of minors and indecent assault of a person less than 16 years of age.

Bova withdrew the indecent assault charge, but Ford will face the remaining charges at a formal arraignment at the Allegheny County Courthouse on April 12.

He is in the Allegheny County Jail on $200,000 bail.
