On June 26 at approximately 2:30 a.m., a officer was dispatched to the 3000 block of Churchview Avenue for a one-vehicle accident. The car had struck a utility pole at that location.

The officer reported that the driver of the vehicle—its lone occupant—was passed out behind its steering wheel upon the officer’s arrival.

The officer also reported detecting a strong odor of alcohol coming from the driver—later identified as Erika L. Wodarek, 40, of 5934 Dashwood Drive in Bethel Park—and finding a beverage in a car cup-holder that also smelled of alcohol.
