Baldwin Borough Police Briefs (Feb. 13-20)
DUI arrests from Streets Run and Becks Run incidents.
DUI Arrest on Streets Run Road
A Baldwin Borough police officer reported observing a motorist speeding through the intersection of Streets Run and Prospect roads at around 1:47 a.m. on Sunday.
The officer then followed the motorist—Ryan William Clark, 33, of 200 E. Elizabeth St., Apt. 1, in Pittsburgh's Hazelwood neighborhood—to near the Streets Run-Brentwood Road intersection, where the vehicle was stopped by police.

While speaking with Clark, the officer reported smelling alcohol. He put Clark through field-sobriety and breath-analyzer tests, and Clark failed them all, according to a Baldwin police report.
The officer arrested Clark for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and took him to Jefferson Regional Medical Center for a blood test. Results of that test are pending.

He was eventually taken home and released.
DUI Arrest from Becks Run Driving
A Baldwin Borough police officer reported observing a motorist speeding on Becks Run Road near the Becks Run-Wagner Street intersection at around 9:48 p.m. on Thursday.
The officer then followed the motorist—Michael G. Reddington, 41, of 444 Dawes St. in Pittsburgh's Arlington neighborhood—as he turned onto Wagner and continued toward Mountain Street in Pittsburgh's Mt. Oliver neighborhood, where police stopped the vehicle.
While speaking with Reddington, the officer reported smelling alcohol and hearing the driver admit to recently drinking beer. He put Reddington through field-sobriety tests, which he failed, according to a Baldwin police report.
The officer arrested Reddington for suspicion of DUI and took him to Jefferson Regional for a blood test. Results of that test are pending.
He was eventually taken home and released.
