UPDATE: Baldwin Borough Mayor's Son's Death a Possible Overdose
Al Bennett's body found in Brownsville Road's 2600 block in Pittsburgh's Carrick neighborhood.
Alexander Bennett III, the son of Mayor Alexander “Sandy” Bennett Jr., was found dead on Tuesday in a van in the 2600 block of Brownsville Road in Pittsburgh's Carrick neighborhood.
No cause of death has been announced yet, but a representative from the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office on Wednesday morning called the incident “a possible overdose” with results from a toxicology report pending.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday. Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home, Inc., in Brentwood Borough will handle funeral services.
