Another BMX Bike Stolen in Whitehall

This is the third such incident reported this month.

For the third time this August, a Whitehall Borough resident has reported the theft of a BMX bicycle.

On Saturday at around 5:54 p.m., it was a resident of Del Rio Drive who told borough police that her son, while at the Whitehall Municipal Swimming Pool since 3 p.m. that day, had his helmet and blue Diamondback bike taken from a bike rack near the pool, police Chief Donald R. Dolfi said.

The bike was not chained down, according to the chief.

The total approximate value of the stolen bike and helmet is $200.

An orange Mongoose bike was reported as being stolen from Baldwin High School property on Aug. 13.

A green Mongoose bike was reported on Aug. 10 as being stolen from the front yard of a home along Doverdell Drive.
