Armed Bank Robbery at Brentwood Giant Eagle

Man victimized a Citizens Bank branch inside of the supermarket.

WPXI is reporting that a man in his 30s, wearing all black clothes and a hat, robbed a Citizens Bank branch inside of the Brentwood Towne Square Giant Eagle late on Wednesday afternoon.

The robbery happened at around 5:30 p.m., according to WPXI's report. Read that full report here.

It is not known how much money was taken from the bank.

WTAE is reporting that the suspect is a thin, black man who showed a gun to a Citizens Bank teller.

The gunman is still at large.

Judy no were in the post did she call you names, she said you were living in a dream world and to think the cops are going to save you, are you going to say to the gunman, hold on I need to call the cops so that they can protect me? I don't think so.

Judy Thompson, I have to agree with Margaret and Jean, if someone was was trying to steal my car at gunpoint, rob me , I most certainly would appreciate it and wouldn't know how to thank them if they saved my life or someone in my families. Guns don't kill people, people do and it isn't the ones that have gun permits or a permit to carry a concealed weapon that kill. It is all the stupid people that steal guns or buys them on the black market that does this, drive by shootings, robberies. Grow up Judy.
