14-Year-Old Charged with Stealing Scooter at Whitehall Library

The boy was found on Radford Road, police say.

Whitehall Borough police officers met a 12-year-old boy at around 4:25 on Friday afternoon claiming that his scooter was stolen from the front of the Whitehall Public Library that day, borough police Chief Donald R. Dolfi reported.

The boy described the scooter as being a blue-and-purple-colored Razor brand.

Police put out an alert on the item, and less than a half-hour later, an officer on Radford Road observed a young male pushing the scooter up a hill, Dolfi said.
