10-Year-Old Burglarizes Whitehall Apartment
And four other stories in these borough police notes.
10-Year-Old Burglar
Whitehall police Deputy Chief Richard M. Danko said that a 10-year-old boy is to blame for burglarizing an apartment in the 1600 block of Skyline Drive in Whitehall Borough's Wallace (Prospect) Park area.
Police went to that residence at around 9:39 p.m. on Friday to find glass from a broken window on the apartment's floor and its tenant complaining that some Xbox gaming equipment had been stolen.

Police investigated the theft in that immediate area, conducted interviews and determined that the 10-year-old, who lives on nearby Parkline Drive, was to blame.
The stolen items were returned to their owner that same night, and because of the boy's age, Danko said, no juvenile allegations will be filed against him.

Teen Facing Harassment, Assault and Disorderly Conduct Allegations
Whitehall police went to the 7-Eleven on Radford Road at around 8:42 p.m. on Saturday in response to a disturbance there.
Police investigated the scene and determined that a 14-year-old boy had assaulted his 48-year-old mother and 12-year-old sister in the convenience store's parking lot, Danko said.
The boy kicked his mother in the back, kicked his sister, as well, and threw a glass bottle at the mother, Danko said.
The boy is facing juvenile allegations for harassment, assault and disorderly conduct.
Items Stolen From Three Unlocked Vehicles
Whitehall police have taken reports of three recent theft-from-vehicle incidents in the borough.
In all three cases, Danko said, the thefts occurred either on Sunday night or early Monday morning, and all three vehicles were unlocked while sitting in their owners' driveways.
Loose change and electronic devices, including an iPhone, were stolen.
Two of the vehicles were victimized on West Lawnview Drive, and the other was on Rolling Hills Road.
"Note to all readers," Danko said, "lock your cars."
