The D.A.R.E Program at Baldwin-Whitehall

I recently had the honor of attending the 5th grade D.A.R.E. graduation ceremony in our district and was really impressed with the program. They have really brought the program up to date and there is a lot more to the program than I was aware of. D.A.R.E. is no longer just Drug and Alcohol Resistance Education, it is a whole lot more.

Maybe you recognize my name from when I wrote articles on Patch.com in the past. My articles were about activities for moms in our community. This article is brand new and was written on Monday for bwaction.com after I spoke with Officer Dave to get more information. I wanted to write about something positive going on in our schools and was impressed with the program.
