Streets Run Road stop sign

To whoever thought putting a 3rd stop sign at Streets Run Road and Prospect Road was a good idea:  I have been driving that road everyday for almost 8 years and I have yet to see or experience an accident in that intersection but somehow it is unsafe.  I am sure there has been accidents there but did it really warrant the need for a stop sign.  The intersection use to have a nice flow to it before the added 3rd stop sign. Yes the people at the stop signs may have been inconvenienced for a few seconds while they wait to go but now everyone else is adding an additional 15 mins+  onto their commute each way during rush hour because of this.  
The people who actually drive this road everyday to and from work are getting frustrated as they stew in their cars.  Putting up the stop sign was not the right situation, maybe blocking off or putting up some type of barrier on the bridge so people couldn't cut in front of somebody to turn right would have been better.  This stop sign has made the once nice flowing traffic pattern to a complete mess.
