Can members of a school board be impeached?

After going to the Baldwin Whitehall School Board meeting last night it became crystal clear that nothing is going to change. There is a six to three split made blatantly obvious by the seating arrangement. If this group of six truly has the best interest of the student in mind they should encourage Marty Schmotzer to resign as requested by the community.
Since the president of the United States can be impeached do we as citizens, of the district, have the option of impeaching school board members? Does anyone know?
Thanks to all of you who have spoken out in defense of the students. We need to keep fighting for them.
