Last night I feel proud to be part of this great community. We stood together and showed the Baldwin Whitehall School Board that we will not remain silent.
I am happy the Martin Schmotzer resigned from the petition, but the position needs to be removed. There is still a position on the books for this position, this needs to be brought to a vote to remove the position itself. We also asked for the 2 seats that where vacated to remained vacated until an election could be held. Martin's seat was vacated by his resignation, I have never seen in my life that you resign but still have your place.
As a community we must stay involved, we all know that this board has a 60 million dollar budget. What they do affect our children's education and safety. This travesty happened because many of us (myself included) are not involved by attending meetings.
I personally plan on doing everything in my power to change that and I know that so many of you will help. This is our mission, we can do this and we will make our voices heard and know within our school district all the time.

You should all be proud, I felt that we conducted our selves respectfully throughout the night, we stay focused on the facts and let everyone know that we will not go away.
