Local youth trying to feed 5,000 for 1 day

The local youth at Stewart Avenue Lutheran Church at the corner of Brownsville Road and Stewart Avenue have embarked on a tough goal. As part of the 30 Hour Famine they are trying to raise $5,000 dollars, this will feed 5,000 children for one day.

April 27th and 28th they will commit to abstaining for food for 30 hours and learning more about hunger. Each year the youth participate in this event and this year they are raise their goal.
