Work on Connor Road from Oct. 9-10

A stretch from Castle Shannon to Mt. Lebanon will be affected.

Work to conduct geotechnical research for future improvements on a long stretch of Connor Road—from Castle Shannon Borough to Mt. Lebanon—will occur on Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 9 and 10, weather permitting, according to a news release from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11-0.

Crews will drill pavement cores between the Connor-Franklin Drive-Old Connor Road intersection in Castle Shannon to the Connor-Sunridge Drive intersection in Mt. Lebanon.

Short-term, intermittent lane closures will occur as needed in both directions from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both days.
