The charity event is scheduled for April 20.

The Caste Family Fund and the Autism Connection of PA are again joining forces to hold a fundraiser for autism support and awareness.

In an email to community members, Tom Caste said that because of the event’s success in the past two years, the entire bowling center has been reserved for this year’s Masquerade Bowl.

The Mardi Gras-themed evening will include raffles, music, dancing and bowling, as well as the highlight of the event— a live radio remote featuring Mikey & Big Bob of Kiss 96.1 Radio Station.

The Caste Family began the Caste Family Fund, a donor-advised fund under the Pittsburgh Foundation, three years ago to give back to organizations such as the Autism Connection of Pennsylvania, which Tom and Gwen Caste said provided guidance and support for their son, who has autism.

In the past two years, the event has raised more than $10,000 for the Caste Family Fund and the Autism Connection of PA, and the family is hoping to raise more with this year’s expanded event.

Tickets are $25 each, and include a complimentary drink, food, and bowling. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online by going to www.autism-support.org.
