Streets Run Road Improvements Begin June 14

The section between Doyle and Delwar roads will experience single-lane shutdowns until June 30.

A section of Streets Run Road between Doyle and Delwar roads in and West Mifflin boroughs will undergo drainage improvements from Tuesday, June 14, until approximately Thursday, June 30.

Single-lane, alternating-use traffic will occur daily in work areas along that half-mile stretch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as needed.

Crews will return to that stretch at a later date to resurface it. Additional information will be released prior to that work occurring.

The entire process is expected to be completed by October, this year.

The project is part of a $3.3-million contract with  for improvements on several roadways in Allegheny County.
