Southbound Route 885 Traffic Shifts to New Bridge over Baldwin Road Thursday Night

Shift is part of ongoing project to improve county bridges.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11-0 announced on Wednesday that southbound traffic currently using the northbound bridge that carries Mifflin Road (Route 885) over Baldwin Road (Route 2046) in Pittsburgh will be shifted onto a new southbound bridge on Thursday night.

The shift is expected to occur after 8 that night.

Once the shift is completed, work will continue through November to remove temporary bridge barrier, to place new median barrier, to rebuild inlets and to paint lines.
