Short-Term Closures at Streets Run-Prospect Intersection Starting Monday

Work will last through Wednesday.

Short-term lane closures will occur at the Streets Run Road-Prospect Road intersection in from Monday through Wednesday, April 2-4, weather permitting, according to a release from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11-0.

Lane closures will occur as needed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, as crews will paint lines and install temporary barrier on the bridge that carries Streets Run over a small stream at that intersection.

Most work is being performed from the road's shoulder with minimal impact to traffic.

*This work is NOT related to residents and Baldwin council members' concerns over , according to Baldwin Borough Manager John Barrett.*

The work is included in a $1.4-million contract with Lone Pine Construction, Inc., of Bentleyville Borough, for improvements on several bridges in PennDOT District 11.
