UPDATES: Severe Thunderstorms Heading Through Pittsburgh Region
Quarter-sized hail and wind gusts of up to 60 mph are possible with these storms.
Most of the Pittsburgh region, including Baldwin-Whitehall, can expect to be hit with a series of strong thunderstorms moving through the area on Tuesday.
The has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for parts eastern Ohio, northern West Virginia and southwestern Pennsylvania effective until 4:15 p.m.
Thunderstorms are expected to affect west-central Allegheny, northern Washington and southwestern Beaver counties.

- I-376 between mile markers 52 and 68
- I-70 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 17
- I-79 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 50 and 49
In addition to large hail and damaging winds, continuous cloud to ground lightning is occuring with this storm, according to forecasters.
