Route 885 Baldwin Road Overpass Restrictions Lifted on Wednesday
Mifflin Road gets less cluttered.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11-0 is announcing that traffic restrictions currently in place on Mifflin Road (Route 885) on the bridge over Baldwin Road (Route 2046) between Hillburn Street in Pittsburgh and Glass Run Road on the border of north will be lifted by 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 21, weather permitting.
Motorists should expect to encounter changing traffic patterns and possible delays while work occurs to remove the restrictions.
This bridge improvement project is included in an $8.1-million contract with Swank Associated Companies, Inc., of New Kensington, PA, for improvements on several bridges in Allegheny County.
