Reminder: Port Authority Service Reductions Take Effect This Sunday
In case you forgot, your commuting schedule may change very soon.
Port Authority of Allegheny County's Board of Directors to move forward with a 15-percent service reduction to its routes and to lay off more than 150 employees.
The reduction is Port Authority's way of addressing a loss in state funding. The service changes take effect this Sunday, March 27.
