Nearby: Glenwood Interchange Work Friday Night

North Baldwin travelers beware.

Crews from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11-0 will cause single-lane closures (as needed) on Route 885 in the Glenwood Interchange area from 8 p.m. on Friday to 8 a.m. on Saturday in order to repair a bridge, weather permitting.

That bridge carries Route 885 over the ramp that connects westbound Route 837 (Riverton Street) to East Carson Street on the border of north Baldwin Borough and Pittsburgh's Hays and New Homestead neighborhoods.

PennDOT's crews will be repairing holes in the bridge deck, and while work occurs on the overhead bridge, the ramp beneath the structure that connects westbound Route 837 to East Carson Street will be closed.
