REOPENED: Maytide Street Closed Due to Water Break

Maytide stretches from Brownsville Road to Route 51.

UPDATE (1:37 p.m.): The road has reopened.

Maytide Street, the hilly road that runs from Brownsville Road in Pittsburgh's Carrick neighborhood to Route 51 in the Overbook neighborhood, is closed due to a water break at a home near the Route 51 intersection.

Crews from the Pennsylvania American Water Company are on the scene repairing the break, and workers said that the repairs should be completed by around 2 p.m.
