Nearby: Large Route 88 Project Starting June 20

Work will last until late August.

A 3.6-mile stretch of Route 88—from the intersection of South Park and Baptist roads in Bethel Park all the way into Washington County—will see roadwork that will last from June 20 until late August.

The work includes drainage upgrades, milling, paving and base repairs, according to a news release from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11-0.

Traffic on that stretch of Route 88 will be restricted to one 11-foot-wide alternating lane in work areas on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on weekends (as needed) from 6 p.m. on Fridays through 6 a.m. on Mondays.
