Halloween Costume Contest: And the Pennsylvania Winner Is ...

The Pennsylvania winner, who will receive $250, is now entered to win the $5,000 grand prize in Patch's Best Halloween Costume in America contest.

You know what they say—no (goblin) guts, no glory.

Congratulations to Lucian Meckley, who has been selected as the Pennsylvania winner of Patch's Best Halloween Costume in America Contest.

Lucian was chosen from among the many adults and children from across Pennsylvania who entered the contest. Entrants posted hundreds of costume photos of themselves and their families from this Halloween or from years past.

We had lots of ghouls, ghosts and Honey Boo Boos to choose from, but we were won over by Lucian's recycling truck costume, assembled by Dad and Mom from cardboard, a set of stroller wheels and a frame built from re-purposed wood.

As the winner of the $250 prize for the best costume in Pennsylvania, Lucian, of Germansville, Lehigh County, now is in the running to be the $5,000 grand prize winner of Patch's Best Halloween Costume in America contest.
