Guide Rail Repairs Begin Thursday on Glass Run Rd.

Expects delays on weekdays through Nov. 19.

Crews from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11-0 will perform guide rail repairs on the bridge that carries Glass Run Road over Glass Run in north Baldwin Borough, beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15, weather permitting.

Lane closures will occur as needed on the bridge, which is found between Gensler and Cathell roads, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays through Monday, Nov. 19.

The work is part of a $1.8-million contract with Allison Park Contractors, Inc., for improvements on several area bridges.
