Baldwin Grad Was Justine Magazine R.E.A.L. Girl Finalist
The Baldwin Township resident was one of six finalists from around the country.
Justine Magazine, a publication that empowers teenage girls by encouraging self-confidence and creativity through articles that focus on "real" girls and their paths to success, honors Baldwin High School graduate Sarah Jugovic as a national R.E.A.L. Girl finalist in its latest issue—on bookshelves now.
Jugovic, a Baldwin Township 18-year-old, attends Chatham University, where she majors in communication and plays soccer.
She is also a member of Girl Scouts of the USA, and she received a great deal of attention during the 2011-12 school year for her Girl Scouts Gold Award project in which she recycled over 10,000 plastic bags by turning them into sleeping mats to be used by homeless people. She dubbed the project "Recycling MATters."
