Call for Volunteers: Tree Planting in Snyder Park - Whitehall

Volunteers needed to help plant trees in Baldwin on Saturday, May 4th.

The Brentwood-Baldwin-Whitehall Shade Tree Commission is looking for volunteers to plant approximately 25 trees at Snyder Park –located at Southvue Drive & Flamingo Drive in Whitehall on Saturday, May 4th at 9 a.m. Volunteers will be expected to arrive at 8:45 a.m. and assist with planting and mulching.

Tools, training, and guidance will be provided by TreeVitalize. Refreshments will be provided.  

If you are interested in helping plant trees and contribute to the beautification of the park, please contact the Brentwood-Baldwin-Whitehall Shade Tree Commission at bbwstc@gmail.com or call 412-884-1700. Please register to volunteer by Wednesday, May 1st.

This tree planting is made possible from a grant from TreeVitalize PA and Western Pennsylvania Conservancy. Support for the planting is provided by the Brentwood-Baldwin-Whitehall Multi-Municipal Shade Tree Commission, Economic Development South’s Environmental Committee, and Whitehall Borough.
