The old country club property along Provost Road in Whitehall Borough may have a new owner soon, but Whitehall Councilman Philip Lahr said on Thursday not to expect another country club there.
Lahr said that the borough's planning commission is recommending that the site be zoned only for townhouses and single-family dwellings.
Lahr said that the site is too congested to be recommended for any other use and that the borough council is expected to accept the commission's recommendation.
A sign from All Pittsburgh Real Estate is what lists the 4.51-acre property's sale as "pending."
