Popular Local Golf Center Suddenly Closes

The Bethel Park facility is tentatively scheduled to reopen in April.

As golf season is teeing off in the area, a popular golf center is closed—for now.

Senior management of the Cool Springs Golf and Family Recreation Center on Hamlton Road in Bethel Park met with some of their employees on Monday to tell them that the center is closed until—tentatively—April 15, according to Bob Salera, the head professional and director of instruction at Cool Springs Golf School.

Salera said that this is the first time that Cool Springs has closed since he started working at the facility in 1997.
