Update: Giant Eagle Recalls Two Brands of Canned Pumpkin

Valu Time and Food Club Solid canned pumpkin should not be consumed.

Update: This is for all Valu Time pumpkin bought on Aug. 30 or later and all Food Club pumpkin bought on Oct. 28 or later.

 pulled two brands of canned pumpkin from its shelves on the eve of Thanksgiving because they do "not meet quality standards."

Customers who purchased Valu Time Pumpkin or Food Club Solid Pack Pumpkin should discard the items and not use them as ingredients.

Both brands are produced by Topco Associates, LLC.

Customers can get a refund, complimentary pie or replacement ingredients, according to Giant Eagle.
