Brentwood-(Whitehall?) Verizon Customers Without Service

Is your street being affected?

Verizon has reported a landline phone outage affecting approximately 62 customers in the Brentwood Borough area due to wet fiber and cables, which could have occurred as a result of Friday's flooding, according to a news release from Allegheny County Emergency Services.

Those customers are unable to dial 911 or any other phone number. Repairs are not expected to be completed until Tuesday.

Customers in may have been affected, as well, as Verizon's Bentwood central office likely serves part of Whitehall, as well, according to the county.
