Route 51 Has Reopened

According to Allegheny County officials, heavy rain from Tuesday night and Wednesday morning will cause Route 51 from Stewart Avenue in Whitehall Borough to the Liberty Tunnels entrance in Pittsburgh to remain closed until at least 8 on Wednesday night.
That includes the Route 51-Route 88 intersection in the city's Overbrook neighborhood.
