Rivers Casino to Host 'The Amazing Race' Casting Call on Tuesday

Do you have what it takes to race around the world?

"The Amazing Race" is looking for contestants in Pittsburgh on Tuesday, Oct. 11.

KDKA-TV is holding a casting call for the reality game show at the upstairs banquet hall of The Rivers Casino in the city's North Shore area. The casino's Rivers Edge Players Club members can audition from 3 to 5 p.m., and public auditions will take place from 5 to 8 p.m.

In "The Amazing Race," teams of two people race around the world in competition with other teams. The CBS program utilizes progressive elimination in that the last team to arrive at a designated checkpoint leaves the game.

Anyone who auditions must have a partner and be 21 years old. Both members of each team must be U.S. citizens and be living in the United States. They must also be in excellent physical and mental health, and they must authorize producers to conduct a background check.
