9th Annual Light Up Night

The 9th Annual Light-Up Night will be held at the Brentwood Towne Center. The evening begins at 5 p.m. with holiday music.  The Light Up is approximately at 5:45 p.m., followed by a parade featuring Santa and his elves, Brentwood EMS, Fire and Police Departments, VFW Color Guard, Brentwood High School marching band and more escorting Santa and in his Clydesdale-led sleigh.

The parade will begin at 5:50 p.m. and the Tree Lighting Ceremony begins at 6 p.m. The parade route runs from the 4200 to 4000 block of Brownsville Road. The tree will be in front of Dante's Restaurant.

After the parade, children have the opportunity to have their photo taken with Santa and his elves and attendees can view the lit, decorated Christmas tree.

For the kids: various businesses pass out giveaways, like glowsticks, popcorn balls and candy.  For the adults: there is a 50/50 raffle and Chinese auction. For everyone: there is food and drink for sale and for free provided by local businesses.
There are various dance and musical performances by local groups, to include the Brentwood High School Choir and an ecumenical choir.  A holiday train display is presented by Brentwood Station, locally-owned and operated by Jan Vogt.
