COMING CONCERT: 'In Loving Memory of Dr. Regis Shalley'

The performers will include 120 past and present Baldwin High School choir members.

Alumni of Baldwin High School's Music department, many of whom performed a moving rendition of "The Hundred Pipers" at former Baldwin Choral Director Dr. Regis V. Shalley's funeral Mass in March, will gather once again for Dr. Shalley this month at the Baldwin High auditorium.

Baldwin's Music Department and the Baldwin-Whitehall Friends of the Theater Arts are sponsoring the "2013 Baldwin High School Alumni Choir Concert — In Loving Memory of Dr. Regis Shalley," which will be performed on Saturday, June 29, starting at 7 p.m.

Admission to the concert is $10 per person at the door, and all proceeds will be used to support the activities of the high school's music department, including a push to rename the auditorium the Regis Shalley Performing Arts Center.

June 29's alumni choir will include 120 past and present Baldwin High School choir members, many of whom performed under the direction of the late doctor.
