What Is Your Neighborhood's Median Income?

'Rich Blocks, Poor Blocks' Map lets you see the median income for your neighborhood in Baldwin-Whitehall and surrounding communities.

An interactive map at the Rich Blocks, Poor Blocks website offers a glimpse at median household incomes, by neighborhoods, in the Baldwin-Whitehall area—or anywhere in the country.

Take, for instance, the central Baldwin Borough area below Whitehall and Brentwood boroughs and east of Route 51. The Rich Blocks, Poor Blocks website shows that area's median household income to be $64,071 per year.

The neighborhood just south of that, in the Brownsville Road/Horning area, shows a much-lower median household income of $34,868.

Most of north Baldwin has a median income of $46,563, but some parts of north Baldwin are doing much better than that ($61,636).

The median household income in most of Whitehall—between $46,000 and $47,000—is lower than that of a large part of south Baldwin ($52,083), while all of Baldwin Township is basically the same ($63,500).
