Here is one that I am not going to miss: The  is having a "Blow Out Book Sale" this week.

Time to pick up some great books for that "time away from it all." Stock up now, moms, before the winter blues hit and you need a good book to take you far away to some nice, warm, secluded island in paradise.

The "Blow Out Book Sale" runs from Thursday through Sunday. See the Whitehall Library website for all of the varied hours and specials.

The sale is not just for books. DVDs, CDs and much more will also be available. But there will still be lots of great books for children and teens to pick from. Don't forget: Christmas is only three months away. There could be some great stocking stuffers there for the kids!

And let's not forget some time away from it all to bargain shop for some fall clothes or maybe some cute new decorations for around the house.

along Route 51 is holding its annual Fall Flea Market on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Saint E's gymnasium. There will be free parking and admission for the event, and the parish will offer games and refreshments throughout the day.

Be sure to grab some time for yourself this weekend, moms, and go bargain shopping!

So there you have it! No excuses. Go grab some time for yourself this week, because there is plenty to do again in Baldwin-Whitehall!

The kids will still be there when you get back waiting to tell you how hungry and how sick of homework that they still are, or how their little sister put peanut butter in the XBox and broke it!

Go grab some sanity, and I will see you there!

Thanks for reading. Enjoy your week.
