Weekly Photo Gallery: The Bird Is Still but the Beach Balls Fly

The Baldwin-Whitehall Patch publishes a weekly photo gallery of interesting and/or important images caught around our area. Any photo taken from a spot in ,  or  qualifies; though, we'll occasionally accept photos that are right on our neighbors' borders as well.

Last week, Baldwin-Whitehall Patch Editor Bob Healy captured  of a railroad overpass on Horning Road in Baldwin Borough that boasts a romantic (albeit criminal) message.

For this week's gallery, the B-W Patch received one photo each from a Patch reader and a Patch contributor. Reader Edward Ladner submitted a shot of a red-tailed hawk perched atop a branch near Ladner's home on Willett Road on June 5, and B-W Patch Moms Council member sent in a photo from 's fifth-grade pool party at the on June 5. (View the images to the right of this page.)
