Anyone with information regarding either of these dogs is asked to contact Whitehall police's Animal Control department.

 ---

Two dogs—a female pit bull and a female terrier mix—were found wandering in Whitehall Borough's Wallace (Prospect) Park area in late August, according to a news release.

No one has yet come forward to claim ownership of either of the dogs, so they continue to be held at Claire's Kennel in Upper St. Clair Township (part of the Upper St. Clair Municipal Complex along McLaughlin Run Road).

The pit bull has reddish-brown hair and is estimated to be younger than 2 years old. She has no collar, tags or ID chip.

The terrier has longer, white hair with black markings on her body and a tan/gray-colored head. She is also estimated to be younger than 2 years old and has no collar, tags or ID chip.

Anyone with information regarding either of these dogs is asked to contact Whitehall police's Animal Control department at 412-884-1101.
