Here is this week's question:

The Pittsburgh Flood of March 17 and 18, 1936, was the worst natural disaster in the city's history.

After a winter that saw 63 inches of snow, several inches of rain fell on Pittsburgh in mid-March, raising the city's water level to 21 feet above flood stage.

The water from the river rose very fast, covering railroad tracks, houses and roads. Notice the snow on the ground and on rooftops in these pictures from that time.

The city and its surrounding areas were all under water. Many people were killed and injured.
