UPDATES: Saint Albert's Summer Fest in Progress

North Baldwin event will last through June 30.

UPDATE: Dinner menus and a list of other attractions have been added to this article's media gallery!

The Saint Albert the Great Summer Festival returns in on Monday, June 25, and will run nightly from 7 to 11 through Saturday, June 30.

Enjoying the annual festival, held on the grounds of  along Churchview Avenue, is a ritual among many residents of north Baldwin and its surrounding communities.

DJ Steve Maffei will perform nightly this year, and the band Black Rock Country will add to the music on Friday.

The rest of the ambience that week will include nightly amusement rides, games (including bingo), food (including a bake sale), auctions, tag sales, raffles and even a petting zoo.

Admission is free, and individual purchases are up to each visitor.

A $2,500 grand prize raffle will be held this year with the winner to be selected on Saturday. There will also be separate $500 raffles from Monday to Friday, and a flat-screen TV and gas grill will also be raffled off.

What's your favorite part of the Saint Albert Summer Fest? Tell us in the comments section below.

I enjoy volunteering; this year I will be at the Ladies of Charity booth. I also enjoy a funnel cake along with the music.

Was up there last night and not sure if anyone knows how to park on the side streets in Baldwin. Was coming down one street as there was cars on both sides and got stuck and had to back up because there wasn't enough room to get my SUV between the two cars that was parked. One car was 3 ft off the curb out in the street and the one across from it was just as bad. Had the person behind me beeping his horn and yelling a few nasty words at me to move my car so he could go though. I got out of the car and told him to put his car in park and had him walk up in front of my car and take a look. We did call the police and they came out. The police did run the cars plates and went to the peoples homes and asked them to move their vehicles or they were going to get ticketed for blocking a street. They do need parking ordinances over in Baldwin and not just the parking between 2am and 6 am in the morning.
