Route 51 Utility Work Thursday and Friday Nights

The closures will run near the Routes 51-88 intersection.

Single-lane closures will occur as needed on Saw Mill Run Boulevard (Route 51) in Pittsburgh's Overbrook neighborhood on Thursday and Friday nights, Sept. 5-6, weather permitting, according to a news release from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11-0.

The closures will run from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. both nights between Hillview Street and Fairhaven/Provost Road (near the Routes 51-88 intersection).

Frank J. Zottola Construction will be drilling test holes to verify underground utilities.
