Patch Picks: New and Coming-Soon Businesses

The Baldwin-Whitehall Patch presents its weekly Patch Picks feature, highlighting editor and reader picks of great local businesses, destinations, services, organizations, ways to spend a day off and more.

This week's Patch Picks are five new or coming-soon businesses to the Baldwin-Whitehall area or nearby.

  • Bottom Dollar Food: , a discount grocery store, will open soon in Baldwin Borough at the site of the old Bradley House of Catering along Brownsville Road.
  • ALDI: A relatively new has been running on Sussex Avenue in Baldwin Township since November 2010, and an even newer ALDI opened along Route 51 in nearby West Mifflin Borough in July. ALDIs are also discount grocery stores.
  • BeanThru Coffee: This place, opening soon on Route 51 in nearby Brentwood Borough, will specialize in the obvious.
  • hhgregg: An appliance and electronics retailer, hhgregg opened on Mountain View Drive in West Mifflin in June.
  • Target/Dick's Sporting Goods: The that Target and Dick's Sporting Goods stores will soon occupy the three floors of the former Boscov's location at South Hills Village in Bethel Park.
