Patch Picks

Did someone say brunch?

The Baldwin-Whitehall Patch presents its newest weekly Patch Picks feature, highlighting editor and reader picks of great local businesses, destinations, services, organizations, ways to spend a day off and more.

Here is this week's list, calling out the B-W Patch's picks of the best places to enjoy a weekend brunch:

  •  (Plenty of great stuff here. Lots of egg sandwiches that are actually served all day. The coffee is good here, too, not to mention the toffee almond bars.)
  •  (Need we say more? Eat'n Park is a Pittsburgh staple, especially its brunch buffet.)
  • Subway on  or in  (Did you know that Subway serves breakfast sandwiches? You do now.)
  • The Georgetown Centre on East Bruceton Road (Just off of Route 51 in the nearby Borough of Pleasant Hills. No, not in Baldwin-Whitehall, but yes, a disservice to not tell you about it. Trust us.)
  • Your Own Home (That's right. Stop at a local grocery store and pick up the ingredients for stay-at-home waffles, eggs, etc. Click here for some great recipes.)

Check out , which featured the best nearby places to take a walk (or run).
