Numerous Baldwin-Whitehall Roads on Water System Upgrades List

Pennsylvania American Water Company officials have announced plans to replace aging main water pipes in their service areas, including Baldwin Borough, Baldwin Township and Whitehall Borough.

The Baldwin-Whitehall roads that will be affected by the water main replacements are Baldwin Borough's Debbie Drive, Springdale Drive and Steiner Street, Baldwin Township's McNeilly Road and Whitehall Borough's Carriage Drive, Clairton Boulevard (Route 51), East Barlind Drive and Longwood Drive. The water company has not revealed exactly when those roads will be affected.

A company spokeswoman said that media will be alerted only if "we anticipate extended traffic disruptions."
